The Crocs, 7-171, fought their back to defeat Ballarat Fire Brigade by 13 runs.
Chase Dummett, 58 (6 fours) and Jarrod Rodgers, 48no, led the way with the bat for Carngham, while Zane Ross put in a stellar all-round performance with valuable 15 runs, 2-22 and being part of two run outs.
Dwayne Hiscock, 45 (5 fours, 1 six), Brad Lockyer, 24, and Luke Macarthur, 25, led the run chase for Fire Brigade, but the task just proved beyond - restricted to 9-158.
Fire Brigade took the ascendancy with the ball early, having Carngham 3-24.
This put the full weight of the Crocs' hopes on Dummett - their leading rungetter for the season.
He was joined by Dean O'Brien, 18, and the fight back began with a 52-run stand.
Dummett then put on 41 with Rogers, who then with his unbeaten knock ensured Carngham a potential match-winning total.
Lockyer was the most successful with the ball with 3-48.
Fire Brigade began well enough with the bat and back-to-back grand final victories looked on the cards, but it was to lose its way and ultimately left too much to late after some costly run outs.
