Police arrested and charged a man in relation to the incident last night.
Police were first called to the Primrose Street address about 3pm after reports of a verbal dispute and a shot allegedly being fired into the air.
It is believed all occupants had left the address before police arrived.
IN OTHER NEWS
Nobody is believed to have been injured during the incident.
A 49-year-old Wendouree man returned to the address a short time later and was arrested by police.
The man has been charged with cultivating and possessing cannabis.
He was bailed to Ballarat Magistrates' Court on 16 August.

Police are investigating following an incident in at a Primrose Street address in Wendouree on Tuesday afternoon.
Police were called to the address about 3pm following reports of a verbal dispute and gun shot being fired into the air.
In a statement to The Courier, police said they believed all parties involved left the scene and were gone upon police arrival.
The exact circumstances of the incident are yet to be determined, but no injuries have been reported at this stage.
Police cordoned off Primrose Street between Verbena Grove and Grevillea Road as a precaution while they investigated.
