STAWELL SES confirmed all students and teachers were accounted for and safe.
"We got them down about 8pm," Stawell SES controller Brody Stewart said.
"A few were checked over by Ambulance Victoria and of course they were pretty hungry."
Ambulance Victoria confirmed 29 secondary school-aged students and several adults were assessed at the scene.
A female student was taken by road ambulance to Stawell hospital in a stable condition with no injuries.
All other students were taken to Stawell hospital by bus for observation. There were no injuries.
There are no further details.
EARLIER, 7.30pm:
A group of school students is missing in the Grampians.
Horsham SES is assisting Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria in locating a group of missing hikers on the pinnacle.
Calls for assistance were received about 5pm to locate the 29 missing school students.
"We understand a few students might have heat stroke and that's our concern right now," Stawell's deputy controller Brody Stewart said.
"We are concerned with how much light is left in the day and hope they are on their way back down."
Stawell and Dunkeld SES are also assisting with the search.
