Loreto College has finished second in the overall medal tally at the prestigious Head of the Schoolgirls regatta at the weekend.

It took home 11 medals, trailing only Loreto - Toorak, with five gold medals, five silver and one bronze.
It claimed the coxed four open five division, year 10 division three and four events as well as the year nine division one and two coxed quad scull.
2021 was the first year that Ballarat crews rowed in quad scull events, where each rower has two oars.
The year nine division one, two and three crews in the boys and girls participated in them at Head of the Lake for the first time.
Traditionally, all Ballarat crews have rowed in sweep coxed fours, where each rower has one oar.
Loreto also claimed silver in the year 10 eight division one race.
It also had two single scullers race, Maggie Dalgleish in open division one and Chiara Basilio in year 10 division one. Damascus had Georgia Peart compete in the open division one single scull.
On the final medal tally for the regatta, Ballarat Clarendon College finished second best of the Ballarat schools.
They finished in fourth with five medals; four golds and one bronze.
Ballarat Grammar finished 18th with four medals; one silver and three bronze.
The senior crews now turn their attention to the Australian Rowing Championships.
They have moved from the traditional Sydney International Rowing Regatta Centre in Penrith to Lake Barrington, Tasmania.
The regatta will run from March 22 to March 28.
