The Suncorp Super Netball reigning premier Melbourne Vixens are coming to Ballarat for two pre-season games.

It will take on the Adelaide Thunderbirds at 4:00pm on Saturday April 10 and 12:00pm on Sunday April 11.
Both games will be played at the Ballarat Sports and Events Centre (BSEC).

The matches are a part of the Vixens "Bring it Home" campaign, where they will take the 2020 championship trophy to parts of Victoria to highlight netball stories in the community.
Vixens head coach Simone McKinnis said the club can't wait to play in Ballarat.
"We were really disappointed not to get to Ballarat last year, so we're excited to be bringing live sport back to regional Victoria and meeting the fans who supported us from afar in 2020 while we were in the Queensland hub," she said.
The club will also hold a community netball clinic on the Saturday morning of April 10. Netball Victoria will host coaching and umpiring professional development opportunities for accredited officials also. More information can be found at netballvic.com.au.
Tickets to the two games go on sale on Ticketek on Thursday March 25 at 9:00am for Vixens members and 12:00pm for the general public.
City of Ballarat Mayor Daniel Moloney added he was excited to welcome the premiers to Ballarat.
"We are delighted to have such elite sportswomen competing in Ballarat," he said.
"It's a wonderful opportunity not just for women's sport but for sport in general, to have athletes of the Vixens' calibre visiting our city and passing on their skills to our future sports stars."
The Vixens had planned to play pre-season games in Ballarat in 2020 but were forced to cancel due to COVID-19.
Wendouree Netball Association manager at BSEC Jordan O'Keefe said its great to finally have the Vixens back and playing in Ballarat.
"The disappointment from last year was obviously difficult but it was a really difficult time for everyone. I always held on to the hope that we'd be able to do it again," he said.
"Particularly in our venue we have a really strong netball association presence so it's great to get a significant netball event to the venue to really showcase what we can do."
