Mr Lund died after he was involved in a single vehicle crash near Margaret River, Western Australia on March 11.
Police said the 23-year-old was driving a Volkswagen van from Margaret River when he lost control and collided with a tree at Rosa Brook Road.
Isaac's father, Dan Lund, said his son was a free spirit and a deep thinker.
"He never had a bad word for anyone, which is why no one had a bad word for him. He was generous beyond his means," he said.
Dan said there was a large family around Isaac that loved him and missed him, including his mother Lisa Van Bergen and sisters Eloise and Acacia.
"They were very close, them three kids. It's just been a shattering experience," he said.
"Isaac will be missed terribly by his extended family in Ballarat and many friends in Ballarat and Australia-wide."
IN OTHER NEWS:
After spending the first six years of his life in Yeppoon, Queensland, Isaac and his family settled in Lal Lal and he spent his school years at St Patrick's College before leaving after year 10 to pursue an electrical apprenticeship with Ballarat Electrical Services.
Dan and Isaac had been involved in father-and-son project GenerAide to deliver generators to small, remote communities in Timor-Leste.
Dan said he and his son were going to return to Timor-Leste as soon as travel restrictions would allow them to.
"That was something that both he and I were very passionate about and I'm very happy I started that work with him and I'm very keen to finish what we started," he said.
Known to many in Ballarat as 'Lundy', Dan Lund said his son was passionate about travelling and was a talented BMX rider, with many in the Ballarat BMX community celebrating Isaac's life at a local skate park.
"He fit a lot into his short life and had travelled through every state in Australia as well as Vietnam, Malaysia, East Timor and Bali and had planned a trip to Canada to travel south through America and South America with a few of his close friends," he said.
"He was a very good skatepark rider and everyone there knew him and respected him. The night he died, last Friday, all the skate park guys had a big party down there."
Isaac's ashes were spread by his family at a service attended by friends and his partner Cassie in Margaret River on Saturday.
A celebration of Isaac's life will be held at Donegan's Farm, Wallace on Friday, March 26 at 2pm.
