Ballarat Health Services has declined to comment publicly following the arrest of a former employee on allegations of sexual assault.

A 45-year-old man from Sebastopol was arrested by detectives late on Friday afternoon.
He was charged with two counts of sexual assault, with police alleging the offending took place between 2018 and 2020.

The man was also charged with one count of using a carriage service to menace.
"We understand this is an ongoing criminal investigation and as such Ballarat Health Services will not be providing comment at this time," a spokesperson for Ballarat Health Services said in a statement to The Coruier on Monday.
"Sexual harassment and sexual assault are absolutely unacceptable, and should not be tolerated in any form or in any way."
The man is scheduled to front court on July 15.
