The side entered half-time trailing by 38 points. It proceeded to keep the Bushrangers to 1.5 in the second half to win 10.10 (70) to 8.11 (59).
Coach David Loader told The Courier it was an impressive performance by his side in the second half to finish strong after a poor start.
"We had a really clear plan on how we wanted to play against them. We spoke about it pre-game and we were as a coaching group probably relatively frustrated at quarter time because we'd gone out and done the total opposite," he said.
"We finished really strongly ... we really elevated our pressure and it's one thing when our pressure's good, we're going well. It's not stats, I'd love to be able to measure our pressure factor, the kids that chase and hassle and cover off."
Ruckman Ben Kellett was moved forward in the second half and kicked three goals, the most on the ground.
Joshua Gibcus, Charlie Molan, Marcus Herbert, Sam Butler, Sam Breuer and Kai Lohmann were all named among the better players for the Rebels.
The Rebels boys now enjoy a month off as the girls squad returns to finish their season.
They'll come up against the top of the table Tassie Devils on Saturday at Warrawee Park from 12:30pm.
