Jacob Wilkinson was cited by the match review panel for an incident involving East Point's Billy Jones during last weekend's grand final re-match.
Wilkinson pleaded not guilty in front of the independent AFL Goldfields tribunal.
After all parties presented their cases, Wilkinson was found guilty and suspended for two matches.
Sebastopol has the bye in round two, meaning Wilkinson will miss the Burra's away trip to Melton in round three, and a clash against North Ballarat the following week.
The tribunal also heard the case of young Darley midfielder Andrew Azzopardi who pleaded guilty to striking.
Azzopardi was reprimanded after the tribunal took in to account his good record.
