A full pump replacement program is under way, according to a spokesperson from Viva Energy, Shell's franchise contractor.
The upgrade includes a full set of new pumps, including diesel at all filling positions, the spokesperson confirmed - currently, there is only diesel available from two positions.
Out of these 12 new diesel nozzles, two will be high-flow for commercial vehicles on the outer lane.
A new fuel line will also be introduced, a 95 octane petrol.
The existing lines will be replaced, moving from the current galvanised steel standard to Universal Petro Pipe.
