The State Emergency Service has recorded 99 callouts across the state in the 24 hours to 9.30am, with seven in the Ballarat area.
These were mainly for trees coming down and minor property damage.
About 9.30am, crews were called to the city-bound lanes of the Western Freeway about five kilometres west of Wallace to remove a tree blocking lanes.

According to the Bureau of Meteorology, 21.2mm of rainfall was recorded at the Ballarat airport in the 24 hours to 9am Tuesday.
The wind and rain is expected to clear by the afternoon.
