Sisyphus was a Greek god required, as punishment, to roll a boulder up-hill only for it to roll down every time - a futile task.

The replacement of the Keep Left sign on the north median of the Doveton/Dana Street intersection is the task of Sisyphus.
The sign gets squashed by right turning traffic into and out of Doveton Street on average once a week and has so for years.
Clearly it is in the wrong place, poking into the intersection.
There is another Keep Left sign a few metres north on the median in any case.
I have written to Regional Roads Victoria and received the following response 'We are currently reviewing this sign and concrete island, and will continue to monitor. This is still with the safety team and hopefully will come to a decision soon'.
What is there to review or monitor?
Get on with a repositioning and release the RRV workers from their Sisyphean task.
