One person has been taken to hospital after a serious head-on crash in Navigators this morning.

It is understood there was a head-on collision between a truck and a car on Navigators Road, near the Dunnstown Road turnoff.
The crash occurred about 8.45am.
The car, a black sedan, suffered extensive damage to the front of the vehicle, coming to rest on the side of the road.
The truck also suffered damage to the front and crashed through a fence on the side of the road.
It is not known if anybody was trapped in either vehicle when emergency services arrived.

Ambulance, police and CFA vehicles were all on scene.
The road was blocked to traffic while the scene was cleared and investigations were conducted.
One person has been taken to Ballarat Base Hospital, but details of injuries are not yet known.
