Premiership duo Hasitha Wickramasinghe and Madushanka Ekanayaka are the latest players to re-sign for the Lions.
Wickramasinghe finished second in the club's champion player count last season, claiming 20 wickets at an average economy of 3.2 and plundering 367 runs at 26.2.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Ekanayaka's 37-wicket haul in the 2020-21 season was enough to see him finish as the competition's second-deadliest bowler.
Batting in the lower order, he also chipped with 249 runs at 20.8.
Rahmatullah Khwaja, who won the club's bowling average award with 29 wickets at 11.14, has also re-committed for another campaign.
For the first time next season, joining the trio will be reigning Gisborne District Cricket Association champion player Dilan Chaminda.
Chaminda crosses from Sunbury United, where he had a stunning 2020-21 season.
The opener amassed 855 at a near-unbelievable average of 122.14. Chaminda, a lifelong friend of Wickramasinghe, also took 17 wickets at 15.82 for the season.
The singing is a boost for the reigning premiers, who will lose opener Anthony Taylor, after his off-season move to Queensland.
