The 19-year-old was brought on in the 46th minute of Australia's 3-2 loss to Denmark.

Cooney-Cross was called up to the Matildas squad after a blistering W-League campaign where she created 41 scoring chances - nine more than anyone else in the competition.
The young gun had previously represented Australia at a junior level and, in 2019, was named as a standby player for the Matildas' FIFA Women's World Cup squad.
Cooney-Cross attended Ballarat High School and previously played for the Red Devils, which later became Ballarat City.
The Matildas next play Sweden on Wednesday morning (AEST) in their last game before the Tokyo Olympics.
