While crowds of up to 25,000 people will be allowed at AFL matches this weekend, and local outdoor sport can once again have up to 1000 people, indoor sports will remain capped at just 300 people despite no new COVID-19 cases in Victoria the past two days.
Basketball Ballarat will decide within the next 24 hours what fans - most likely members or corporate sponsors - will be allowed to attend the Rush and Miners matches this Saturday night against Kilsyth.
Given there are approximately 60 players and officials spread across the two competing clubs on top of NBL1 officials, cleaners and security and first aid staff that will need to be in the venue, it is unlikely there will be any tickets made available to the general public.
