The AFL decided late on Wednesday night to relocate the two Sydney clubs and Western Bulldogs to Queensland.
This also puts a cloud over the likelihood of the Western Bulldogs and Adelaide encounter being played at Ballarat's Mars Stadium on Sunday, July 25, as scheduled in such a fast moving landscape.

The AFL is sending the three clubs to Queensland on Thursday morning.
A decision is still to be made on when and where the Swans and Giants will clash.
The Bulldogs play Gold Coast at Metricon Stadium on Saturday.
