In all, five players are in the running to move up to the top level in their footballing careers.
The team which involves players from all around the western district, some that have to travel up to three hours just to be at training every night had multiuple obstacles to overcome, yet fought their way to a preliminary final berth this season.
All five players in the running bring different attributes to the table.
For some it's leadership, for some it's athleticism, for some it's contested ability and others it's the ability to find the ball, but all have a distinct drive to be the best they can be.
Some have been playing football since they were five, some have only recently moved onto the sport after promising careers in other sports and one only discovered the game when she arrived in this country as a refugee. All have different stories to tell.
Rebels coach David Loader this week put an eye over the group and these are his thoughts what each could bring to an AFL club.
The AFLW draft is on Tuesday night, starting at 6.45pm.
Chloe Leonard
Joint Captain of the Rebels Chloe has had an outstanding year including playing for Victoria Country in the national championships.
Chloe is a tough contested player that can play several positions, she has played mainly at half back, but spent the last few games in the midfield.
Chloe is an excellent kick and a very strong overhead mark.
Chloe displayed inspirational leadership qualities across the entire season and is enormously respected by her peers.
Lilli Condon
Joint Captain of the Rebels Lilli has had an exceptional year and was consistently the highest possession getter on the field.
Lilli is a genuine inside midfielder with a ferocious attack on the ball and her direct opponent.
Lilli was crucial to the team all season and the reason the Rebels went deep into the finals.
A player with a very bright future that brings others into the game with her ability to win the ball.
Lilli displayed inspirational leadership qualities across the season finishing with a terrific finals campaign.
Ella Friend
A tall dominant forward or back with a devastating left foot kick, Ella had a terrific season playing several roles.
Ella possesses the ability to take a big, contested mark and kick a long goal with her enormous kick.
Ella started the season as a key forward, went into the midfield and then spent time in defence, playing all roles well.
Ella has clean hands and makes good decisions under pressure; Ella is a player with a very bright future.
Nyakoat Dojiok
'Nike' has had a dominant season as one of the standout key defenders in the competition.
An exceptional athlete Nike showed incredible power, speed and agility to consistently beat her opponents one on one and to repel the opposition attacks.
Nike is a fantastic, contested mark and an excellent contested ball player.
Nike has the scope and talent to take her football as far as she wants, an incredible talent with a bright future.
Tahlia Meier
An explosive small player with fantastic ball winning ability Tahlia had an exceptional season and was at her very best during the Rebels finals campaign.
Tahlia can played a number of roles and played mainly between midfield and small forward where she regularly hit the scoreboard.
Tahlia is one of the cleverest players in the NAB competition and is also very aggressive in the contest. Tahlia has an extremely bright future.
