The AFL is yet to confirm all its round 20 fixtures, including the Western Bulldogs v Adelaide clash originally scheduled for Mars Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
IN OTHER NEWS:
The match is currently listed to be played at the MCG, but it's understood no venue has been locked in.
The fixture uncertainty comes as the Dogs try to avoid any impacts from Victoria's latest COVID-19 outbreak.
Beveridge said the state's ever-expanding list of exposure sites had the club on edge.
A long list of players and staff, including star midfielder Josh Dunkley, have been forced into 14-day isolation periods after unwittingly visiting exposure sites in Melbourne.
"All of us are a bit paranoid about going anywhere," Beveridge said.
"There are so many Tier 1 and Tier 2 sites, but it just comes down to common sense, really.
"Our players know that, and I think we're avoiding being stuck in any one place for any period of time."
Beveridge was wary of placing any further restrictions on players once the lockdown is over.
"This is the challenge with their lifestyle and young people are missing out on so much these days with the rules and extra layers that the AFL sort of imposes over the top of society," he said.
"There's not a lot of freedom in it, as we know, but I think everyone's being sensible."
