"It'll be a big weekend but I think they're both gettable games for us," she said.

The Rush kick-off the weekend taking on fifth-placed Eltham on Saturday from 6pm at Ballarat Sports and Events Centre.

They will travel to Bendigo to take on the third-placed Braves on Sunday from 12pm.

After a 5-0 start to the season, Eltham has gone 4-3, two of those wins by three and two points respectively.

In those three losses, Eltham has entered quarter-time behind on the scoreboard, scoring an average of 14.3 points in the opening term.

This is an area the Rush have struggled with so far this season, but if they can jump out of the gates quickly, they stand a great chance of claiming a win.

Bendigo present a different beast on Sunday, having won its past five games before lockdown.

The Rush, however, led the Braves by 13 points at half-time last time they met, an eight-point third quarter the Rush' only downfall on their way to a seven-point loss.

"I think we played actually pretty well that game we just had one quarter that let us down," Froling said.

Tess Madgen won't feature for Bendigo as she is in Tokyo playing with the Opals.

It's a boost for the Rush, as the guard put up 18 points (three triples), 10 rebounds and eight assists last time the two teams met.
