She will be one of two trainers to share the latest training facility being built on course at Sportsbet Ballarat.

Cunningham has been training out of a 13-box barn for the past two decades only a matter of metres away from what will be her new base

She will have 15 boxes, as well as access to an on-site walker and treadmill, with outside yards also planned for down the track.

Cunningham said if everything went to plan the development would be completed mid-November.

She said it would be llike a fresh start and having up-to-date facilities to offer would hopefully help attract new clients to the stable.

Cunningham not surprisingly jumped at the opportunity to take up offer when the Ballarat Turf Club, which is building the development, put it to her.

She said with a long-term plan to demolish her existing barn, a move was inevitable so the timing was right.

"We're really appreciative of the support we've received from (BTC chief executive officer) Belinda (Glass) and the committee."

Glass said the club was excited to see Cunningham relocating into fabulous new facilities to continue to build her training business.

Cunningham, who has about 12 horses in work at the moment, interestingly already has an affinity with the site of what will be her new base.

The location was previously occupied by a stabling complex once occupied by the Smerdon family.

The old facilities have been demolished to make way for the latest development.

Cunningham said she had worked at the old stable for Robert Smerdon for 10 years before branching out on her own.

BALLARAT Turf Club races again on Tuesday, with an eight-race program on its synthetic track.

This will act as a prelude to an all-jumps meeting next Sunday, featuring the $350,000 Grand National Steeplechase.

Five other jumps races are also programmed.
