Ballarat Turf Club's race meeting on Tuesday has been delayed after a jockey booked to ride in the opening race was identified as a possible secondary COVID-19 contact.

Racing Victoria stewards have put each race back 30 minutes, withe first now scheduled for 1.30pm.
Reports are that a jockey rode after having contact from someone from a COVID-19 tier one site.
Consequently, this jockey and others who have since ridden at the same meetings as him are unable to fulfill riding engagements in Ballarat.
Jockeys Dean Holland, Jake Noonan and Ballarat's John Allen have all been replaced in the first race.
