A Buninyong woman has died in hospital after being struck by a car on Tuesday night.
Emergency services were called to an address in Blackberry Lane about 7.30pm on Tuesday.
Police understand the 71-year-old woman was helping a man park a car in a garage when the car "lurched forward" and pinned her against a brick wall.
The woman was airlifted to the Royal Melbourne Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
On Thursday police confirmed the woman had sadly died.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.

A woman remains in a critical condition in the Royal Melbourne Hospital after being struck by a car in Buninyong last night.
Emergency services were called to Blackberry Lane about 7.30pm on Tuesday, after a woman aged in her 70s was struck by a car.
Police believe she was helping a man park a car in a garage when the car suddenly lurched forward and pinned her against a brick wall.

The woman sustained life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Arriving at the address, paramedics assessed the woman for lower body injuries.
An air ambulance was called and airlifted her to the Royal Melbourne Hospital for treatment.
Police are investigating exactly what occurred.
