The team at Yabby Dam Farms, based in Cardigan, started talking about training up to do a post-COVID event of some kind together. Then they felt they could make a bigger, much-needed impact now.
Ms Toulmin and her team are calling on the horse racing fraternity and wider community to get out and join Walk the Track, sharing photos on social media from their training tracks, driveways, neighbourhood footpaths and walking trails. The aim is a combined effort to raise money and awareness for Beyond Blue.
There are a lot of people out there doing long hours and really experiencing the highs and lows.

"There are a lot of people out there doing long hours and really experiencing the highs and lows," Ms Toulmin said.
"...Owners haven't been able to see horses. This is also a way trainers and staff can show horses on the track, too. We want that correlation between people exercising and conversing so we thought, let's put something out there a bit positive."
Walk the Track officially started on September 1, encouraging people to spring into exercise for the first day of spring. Ms Toulmin said there was a chance to make this an annual fitness and social challenge.
IN OTHER NEWS
Yabby Dam Farms is both a training and stud farm. While gallops and harness racing has been mostly able to continue during lockdowns the past two years, this has been under tight restrictions.
Ms Toulmin hope Walk the Track as a challenge would help remind everyone they were not alone in this.
The campaign has raised $430 for Beyond Blue in the first nine days with Victorian government's five-kilometre restrictions in place. Eased restrictions from Friday allow regional Victorians to explore other tracks anywhere in regional areas, excepting Shepparton.
To support Walk the Track, visit Yabby Dam Farms' social media channels and use #walkthetrack2021 to virtually walk together.
