Sweden's Kristoffer Broberg has smashed the course record that he'd set only a day earlier, with his 11-under par 61 giving him a yawning eight-shot lead after three rounds of the Dutch Open.

The 772nd-ranked Broberg opened with four birdies and an eagle in his first six holes in benign conditions on Saturday at the Bernardus club in Cromvoirt and he enjoyed six more birdies in a bogey-free back nine.
The 35-year-old Swede moved to 23 under overallm after having set the course record for the first time on Friday with a second round 64.
The tournament marks a return to form for Broberg after recent years blighted by injuries which saw him play only 11 events between 2018 and 2020 due to a combination of hip and knee injuries.
Broberg, whose only European Tour win was six years ago at the BMW Masters in China when he beat Patrick Reed in a playoff, needed an eagle three on the final hole for a round of 59, but hit his drive well left and had to settle for a closing par five.
Denmark's Marcus Helligkilde (68) remained in second place on 15 under but he's eight shots behind and it's Broberg's tournament to lose.
Maverick Antcliff, the only Australian to make the cut, shot a third round 71 and is five under for the tournament in joint 46th position.
