Orr spent the whole of 2019 season with the Bloods, after cutting ties with VFL club Coburg and helped his side to a preliminary final.
IN OTHER NEWS:
The forward/ruck finished second in the club's best-and-fairest that season.
Orr played 13 games in the 2018 season, including Melton's two-point grand final loss to East Point.
The Bloods' big man left for employment opportunities in New Zealand at the end of the 2019 season.
Orr played for Mid Canterbury Eagles in the Christchurch-based Canterbury Australian Football League in 2020 and kicked a record 49 goals in the home-and-away season.
Orr's return is set to add welcome size to a Melton outfit looking to improve on this season's second-place finish. Ruckmen Ben Archard and Ashden Crone could only manage five games and three games respectively in injury-interrupted seasons.
