First run in 2003, The Great Chase offers groups an opportunity to share in $24,000.
Applications may be made to Ballarat Greyhound Racing Club, which will have heats on Wednesday, October 6.
Heats are being run at 11 tracks and a final at the Meadows on October 20.
Organisations which are selected to take part are allocated a greyhound in a heat, with the opportunity to raise funds through picking up a share of prizemoney as the series progresses.
Staff and clients usually get an opportunity to engage by attending race meetings, but this will not be possible this year owing to COVID-19 restrictions. I
Instead, Ballarat will combine with Bendigo, Warrnambool, Horsham and Shepparton for an online event with participating groups on September 29.
