Emergency crews attended the scene on Yarrowee Street just after 12.30pm on Thursday, with reports of a house fire.
According to a CFA spokesperson, on arrival, crews found a two-storey building was on fire, and all occupants had evacuated.
The scene was declared under control at about 45 minutes later - the front room of the house appeared significantly damaged, and smoke was emanating from the ceiling as crews began cleaning up.

Ambulance Victoria confirmed a teenaged male and a teenaged female were assessed by paramedics at the scene, and were taken to hospital in a stable condition for observation.
A Victoria Police spokesperson said in a statement the exact circumstances surrounding the fire are yet to be determined, however it is not being treated as suspicious.
Three CFA vehicles attended with support from Fire Rescue Victoria, the CFA spokesperson added.
