Headspace Ballarat was a hive of activity today as it hosted the first of six consecutive Fridays to accommodate COVID-19 vaccinations for young people.

Manager Janelle Johnson was thrilled with her team.
"I am excited to have everything set-up," Ms Johnson said.
"The team at headspace has put everything together and got it all organised."
A well-oiled machine was in operation.
Headspace and BCH personnel were manning the desk and roaming the halls; BHS nurses were operating with care; separate rooms for inoculation allowed for privacy; an activity room was filled with distractions for the anxious.

Ms Johnson was delighted.
"I feel confident this is something else we can provide to Ballarat youth," Ms Johnson said. "It's much nicer to be proactive rather than reactive."
