Testing will be available from the Bacchus Marsh Public Hall, 207 Main Street, between 10am and 5pm on Sunday, and 9am and 5pm on Monday.

Parking is available at the rear of the hall.

It is not yet known if a testing site will open in Ballan.

Testing sites are also open at Ballarat, Melton, and Daylesford, including drive-through testing.

Several exposure sites across Bacchus Marsh and Ballan have been listed on the state government's official list.

Anyone who has attended a Tier 1 site must get tested immediately and begin isolating, and anyone who has been to a Tier 2 site must isolate immediately and get tested as soon as possible.

More exposure sites are expected to be listed through the weekend.

UPDATE 12.15pm: State testing commander Jeroen Weimar has confirmed more testing sites will be set up in Bacchus Marsh and Ballan.

Locations for the testing sites, and when they will open, has not yet been confirmed.

In Saturday morning's press conference, Mr Weimar said there were 32 active cases in Moorabool Shire, with two more recorded in the past 24 hours.

"One of the cases was pretty active in the community during that infection period, we are working on the acquisition source, and the second case, we are working through their interviews at this point in time," he said,

"We will be setting up some additional testing facilities around Moorabool over the course of today and tomorrow, my encouragement is if you are in Bacchus Marsh there is a significant testing facility at Melton, you can go into there to get tested.

"We will looking to set up something in Ballan later on today or tomorrow."

The state government confirmed extra testing capacity will be made available in Melton and Ballarat on Friday evening.

"Two new sites for testing are opening in Melton this weekend in addition to existing sites in Ballarat, Daylesford, Melton, Melton West, Redan and Sebastopol," a DHHS spokesperson said.

The state government also announced more support for the construction industry affected by lockdowns, focusing on metropolitan Melbourne, Geelong, and Surf Coast Shire

Victoria has recorded another 1488 cases, another high total as more regions enter lockdown.

Moorabool Shire will be locked down until at least Friday, with rising case numbers particularly in Bacchus Marsh, as well as Shepparton.

On Friday, 36,878 vaccines were administered and 71,224 test results received.

Another two people have died.

A handful of exposure sites in Ballarat, Ararat and Bacchus Marsh were added to the official list late Friday night, and people are reminded to keep an eye on the list and follow the instructions if they are contacted.

No detections have been made in wastewater for the last couple of days in Ballarat.

More information on the new cases and two deaths is expected later on Saturday.

It comes as residents in two regional Victorian towns awake on Saturday to their first day of seven under a fresh lockdown.

Shepparton and Moorabool were plunged back into lockdown at 11:59pm on Friday to contain growing cases.

Shepparton's active cases have grown to 24, with Moorabool currently dealing with 32 cases.

Meanwhile, hundreds of thousands of Victorians have been issued an ultimatum: get vaccinated for COVID-19 in two weeks or risk losing your job.

All Victorian authorised workers must have their first vaccine dose by October 15 and a second by November 26 to keep working on site, as part of a new statewide mandate.

The requirement will cover retail workers, personal trainers, MPs, journalists, faith leaders, judges, police, lawyers, actors and professional sportspeople.

Of the 1.25 million estimated authorised workers in the state, Premier Daniel Andrews says more than a million have already had their first dose.

The government plans to consult with certain industries such as energy, waste management and faith leaders but Mr Andrews flagged there would be few exemptions.

The October 15 deadline will not replace Victoria's separate vaccine mandate timelines for aged care, healthcare, freight, construction and education workers.

Mr Andrews played down the possibility the broader mandate could spark more anti-vaccine protests, with another three demonstrators arrested on Friday.

"I'm not taking lectures on freedom from people who will hold all of us back," he said.

Victorian Chamber of Commerce chief executive Paul Guerra welcomed the decision, saying it provided businesses with "certainty, guidance and protections".

The Pharmaceutical Society of Australia also labelled it a "step in the right direction".

But the Victorian opposition is demanding the public health advice behind the expanded mandate be publicly released.

"It has all the appearance of panic," Shadow Treasurer David Davis said.
