The club was without a senior netball team in season 2021, but has made a concerted effort to return next season, appointing one of the Bellarine Football Netball League's best leaders.
Post spent her playing career at Geelong Amateur and helped the side into six straight grand final appearances.
This season just completed, the club was undefeated when the season was halted early.
Daylesford Football Netball Club president Carson White, said that the appointment was incredibly exciting after the club.

"We are thrilled to have Carly join the club as head coach for 2022," he said.
"From the first meeting we knew she was going to be a great fit for Daylesford.
"She quickly understood our vision and this aligned perfectly with how she wanted to coach and contribute to the club.
"Carly has wasted no time and has been quick to start recruiting and building a new A Grade team as well as planning the summer preseason program for the squad.
Post brings a strong business mind to the club from her years working in the public relations industry and has indicated her keenness to help promote major events such as the 2022 Price Cup event.
She said she had a special connection the town, which she was looking to rekindle.
"My family actually ran the old Belvedere Hotel for a couple of years when I was a kid and I completed Prep at Daylesford Primary School," she said.
"I also got married here. I have been thinking about reaching out to the club to get involved for a number of years and it just seemed like the right time. I'm looking forward to getting stuck into it and working with the incredibly passionate group of people at the club who have set such great foundations. I want to help to channel some of that back into Daylesford's senior teams."
White said the club was determined to return to A Grade next season.
"We sat down over a coffee and we knew straight away we were on the same page," he said of Post's appointment.
"Because Carly has been playing right up until now, she has built up a strong connection with a lot of players. Right now, we know of 14 players who have expressed some interest in joining us next season.
"But there's also an understanding that we must focus on developing from within.
"For me as a president, getting the back end right is more important than the front.
"With everything that's happened the past two years, it will be more important than ever for clubs to create an enjoyable experience so people want to become involved. It's not something you can just see happen overnight, it takes a lot of work and that's our goal.
