Principal Seona Murnane said Pink Stumps Day, a fundraiser to help the McGrath Foundation provide breast care nurses to support women and men experiencing breast cancer, had quickly become a popular addition to the school calendar.
Throughout the afternoon staff and students took part in cricket matches and other activities and everyone was encouraged to wear pink to mark the day.
"We started it last year as a great engager for getting students back to school after remote learning and we've kept it going," Ms Murnane said.
"We play cricket and get lots of kids playing - you don't have to know how to bat and bowl, it's all about teamwork and we play in houses, and students against staff, so there's a bit of rivalry there."

Students also bought coins to school to line up in a row with bragging rights going to the longest line.
"This is all about student involvement, getting to school and supporting a good cause," she said.
