Paramedics, fire crews, police and SES volunteers were called to the incident at Eaganstown, between Old Ballarat Road and Pescias Hill Road about 3.25pm Sunday.
The Courier understands the driver, in his 40s, managed to get himself out of the truck.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson confirmed he suffered minor cuts and abrasions to the face.
He has been taken to the Ballarat Base Hospital in a stable condition.
Lane restrictions are in place while the scene is cleared although it is not known how long crews will be there as fuel and grain has spilled over the road.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time near the area as the cleanup continues.
