Webccona moved into third spot thanks to the 57-53, 14 points to two win.
It was a tight contest all day, Gary Johnson's team just getting the better of the Phillip Clamp skippered opposition, 23-18, while Matthew Blackburn also won his rink in a low-scoring 18-13 victory over Ryan Bedggood, to secure the club 14 points of the possible 16 points.
The other rink saw a 18-14 win to Paul Forrest over Peter Aldred giving BMS a richly deserved two points for such a close contest throughout the day.
In other matches, Ballarat won two of the three rinks in three lop-sided contests against Creswick, to claim 14 of the 16 points.
Ballarat's Paul Slater had a seven shot win over Rick Irwin, which was as close as it got between the sides. Creswick's Travis Hedger had an eight-shot win over Zac Stewart while Taylor Stewart was far too strong for Garry Flapper's team winning 22-10.
Linton remain well and truly anchored in the top four, picking up a valuable 14 points on the road against Learmonth.
Despite the 14-2 scoreboard, this game was relatively tight throughout with Linton grabbing the upper hand, most in part to a 27-14 win for Brendan Wilson over Ross Powell.
It was a day for the 14-2 scorelines with Bunninyong picking up a 12-shot win over Mount Xavier, winning two of the three rinks. Brian Wilcock's 23-12 victory over the team skippered by Phillip McGrath proved the difference between the two sides after both teams split the team one and two rinks.
The final match, was also a 14-2 scoreboard, with Sebastopol getting the win over Victoria and moving to the top of the ladder.
This game was close throughout, with Sebastopol holding on for 56-51 win, with two of the three rinks in its pocket. Sebastopol wins were picked up by Ian Warner, but just one shot over Shane Pongho and Rob Baker who had a much easier time in the 23-13 win. Victoria's points came by way of Craig Ford, winning 20-14 over Murray Gannon.
