Antonia Miller faced the Ballarat Magistrates' Court last week and pleaded guilty to 18 charges.

Police prosecutor Senior Constable Steve Repac said Miller was drivingabout midnight in January 2021 when she sped away police on a highway in Stawell, overtaking trucks and driving into oncoming traffic with her headlights off.

She was disqualified from driving at the time and was seen driving a number of other times on later dates.

One time she hit and caused damage to two cars that were parked outside a church.

Police found drugs in the bedroom of her Wendouree property during a search warrant, along with shotgun cartridges and an iPad that was stolen in a burglary at a Delacombe business.

Miller also breached two community corrections orders and committed some of the offending while on bail.

Defence lawyer Heidi Keighran said Miller completed 114 days in custody and submitted time served and a community corrections order was an appropriate sentence.

She said Miller had support to obtain housing and planned on getting a job.

Ms Keighran said 2019 onward was a chaotic period for client, with family violence, child protection intervention with her child, her partner incarcerated, a decline in mental health and increasing drug use.

Magistrate Letizia Torres imposed a sentence of imprisonment, time served, with a 18 months community corrections order.

Miller will be required to undergo supervision, treatment and judicial monitoring. She was also fined $700.

"This is really serious offending," Ms Torres said.

"The two sets of driving offences really put people in danger. It is chaotic and dangerous conduct and it has put you where you are now.

"Your time in custody has given you time to reflect and appreciate what you really want to be is a mum and a worker. I am going to give you that opportunity."
