According to the ageless song, the first day of Christmas involved a partridge in a pear tree. On subsequent days, two turtle doves and all manner of gifts were evident.
W & D Finance's donation of $5000 could see a verse added, the generous sum resulting in 15 titanic trolleys.
Soup, flour, pasta sauce, and other essentials and delicacies were purchased with the money at Coles Supermarket Wendouree on Monday morning.
W & D Finance's Michael Rice believes it was vital for the firm to continue its 20-plus-year support of the initiative.
"It's a wonderful cause," Mr Rice said. "To find a charity which works solely for the Ballarat region is a great fit."

Radio Ballarat general manager John Fitzgibbon continues to be thrilled with the appeal's progress.
Wielding a shopping receipt metres in length, Mr Fitzgibbon referred to the full trolleys.
"This is a massive quantity," he said. "It puts into context what that amount of money can do."
The radio identity feels locals are going above and beyond this year.
"The message is getting out there that it's a tough year," Mr Fitzgibbon said. "I have as much faith in the community as I've had, the wonderful community Ballarat is."
Despite his infamous relucatance to don a Santa cap, Mr Fitzgibbon is proving to be the antithesis of Ebenezer Scrooge.
"The spirit of Christmas is alive in Ballarat," Mr Fitzgibbon said.
