Emergency services have responded to two collisions across Ballarat on Thursday morning - the first at Sebastopol and the second at Nerrina.
A single car crashed on Grant Street about 6.40am, with the driver sustaining minor injuries.
The second crash occurred on the Western Freeway at Nerrina, with the driver escaping without injury.
It has prompted police to urge all road users to take care on the roads, with wet weather decreasing visibility and the wet road surface increasing the time it takes to brake.
"We urge people to take extra care out there, slow down and to drive to the conditions," Sergeant Natasha Hall told The Courier.
