Daylesford president Carson White said over 100 people attended.
"From the 20 players that played in the '61-premiership team, 13 players are still alive of which eight were able to attend the '61 premiership event, which was amazing," he said.
The club commemorated the achievement with a book filled with images of the 1961 season, finals series and grand final.
It also included events held post-win, including the civic reception at the town hall and the burying of the symbolic magpie being the Maryborough Football Club, who become the nemesis of Daylesford.
Each person indirectly connected to the premiership was presented a copy.
"The 1961 premiership team will always be a significant part of our rich history and the legacy will always be front of mind for the DFNC community and will be passed on to many generations," White said.
