They will then tackle Bendigo Pioneers at Bendigo on Saturday, on January 29.
The Rebels will have their first home game against Tasmania on Saturday, February 12.
Rebels regional talent operations lead Brooke Brown announced the early fixtures at the same time as releasing GWV's final squad for 2022.
The 36-strong squad includes three over-age 19-year-olds - Lilli Condon, Tahlia Meier and Chloe Stevens.
The trio played important roles in the Rebels 2021 preliminary final appearance.
Condon led the way, averaging 23.9 disposals and 6.7 tackles per game on her way to claiming the side's best and fairest award.
There are 17 top-age players who will be eligible for next year's AFLW national draft and 16 bottom aged.
Brown said players had been able to train as a full squad under head coach David Loader once a week in Ballarat in a short pre-season, as well as having sessions at satellite bases in Horsham, Warrnambool and Hamilton
The squad took part in a NAB League testing day at Latrobe University, Bundoora, on Sunday under the watchful eye of NAB League, AFLW and VFLW recruiters.
They were tested in several disciplines including yo-yo, 20-metre sprint, agility and vertical jump.
