Ballarat Football Netball League premiership player Kane White leads the quartet.
READ MORE SPORT:
White, a part of Bacchus Marsh's inaugural premiership team in 2016, will join the Emus alongside Cobras teammate Tim Hughes.
Joining the pair will be reigning BFNL George King medalist for the reserves best and fairest Jack McClure and former East Point player Sam Romeril.
Skipton co-coach Sam Willian said the added depth will help the Emus improve on their eight-placed finish this year.
"(These) four are massive recruits, just gives us heaps more flexibility," he said.
"I think last (season) we were kind of restricted in terms of if we had one backman get injured, then one of us midfielders were having to go to half-back, then it would throw our midfield structure out.
"Then Pitto (Andrew Pitson) would need to go from forward into the midfield, then it would throw our forward structure out.
"We just lacked that depth last (season). Add them four boys in plus retaining what we've retained and I think it puts us in a really good position ... (to) just have a serious tilt at it."
White suffered an ACL injury at the end of the 2017 season but returned to play 10 games in 2019 and five this past season.
Hughes became a regular member of the Cobras senior line-up the past two seasons, playing 24 games.
Willian said the pair will fill a void across half-back and on the wing.
Romeril joins brothers Jack and Matt at Skipton.
The latter two made the move to the Emus in 2021, helping steer them to finals qualification.
Sam has spent the past few seasons with Modewarre in the Bellarine Football Netball League, winning a premiership in 2018. Willian envisions a half-back, wing role but can also see him running through the midfield.
McClure signs on having spent the past eight years with East Point.
He won an under-18.5 premiership in 2015. Willian said McClure will add some size to the Emus' midfield.
"We did hunt pretty hard to try find a big key forward," Willian said.
"Once that fell short we thought let's just add as much depth as we can across the half-back line, add a big body in McClure, just a bit of all-round class."
