Police say they pulled over a Toyota Hilux at Revesby in Sydney's southwest on Tuesday to speak to the 27-year-old driver.
While searching the ute police say they found around $600,000 in cash concealed in bags.
The man was arrested and taken to Bankstown Police Station.
Police say they then searched a Revesby home and found another $350,000 as well as electronic devices and ammunition.
The man will face Bankstown Local Court on August 31.
