The world No.14 eagled three of the four par-fives, and birdied the other on Thursday - but her card was not blemish-free as she dropped a shot at the 404-yard eighth.
However, it was more than enough to catapult her to the top of the leaderboard on day one of the Aramco Team Series, which features an individual 54-hole stroke play tournament taking place alongside a 36-hole team event.
Her nearest rivals - Belgium's Manon De Roey and Slovenian Pia Babnik - both shot six-under 66s, while Korda's more celebrated sister, Olympic champion and world No.3 Nelly Korda, fired a 67.
Rising Australian star Steph Kyriacou was in joint 10th place after a three-under 69 but her compatriot Whitney Hillier had a disappointing day, firing a four-over 76.
