Just over 18-months ago while on the Westminster Bridge in London, Sarah Kaye was swept off her feet when she turned around and found her boyfriend of eight years on one knee holding a blue little box.
Hours after Corey Kirby proposed, the couple decided to get married at the place where they first met - The Regent Multiplex.
Ms Kaye said she was only 16-years-old when she went to the movies to see Cinderella Story with her friends and it was that night she was met her future husband.
“A few weeks later I went to a high school party and he was there and we started talking from there.
“Two weeks later we started dating and have been together ever since,” Ms Kaye said.
“It was Corey’s idea to get married at the place where we met.
“Our ceremony will be held in Cinema One and we haven’t added anything.
“We wanted it to be exactly how it was when we met.”
All of the wedding guests received a movie ticket to a premier showing of Sarah Kaye and Corey Kirby Tying the Knot as the invite.
Cinema manager Stewart Moors said this is the first wedding to be held at the Regent Multiplex.
“Its quite unique and very special for the couple as Corey used to work here and its where they first met,” Mr Moors said.
