i am not only shocked about the football results but also the netball. it is really quite apalling to see how well some people poll because they are highly involved in the league whether they have coaching roles or their parents coach netball teams. where is the chance for the new players in both football and netball to be noticed. yes there are some great players but it is sad to see the new ones aren't being recognised also what about the age of alot of these senior netballers stepping up at as young as 16 years old. it should be about the talent not going by the name you have. these results have really taken away the true spirit of the whole term best and fairest. it should be more along the lines of "how far can you crawl to poll some votes". nothing against some of the people who polled very well and many of the votes were well earned, however the amount of votes given to many players who arent as deserving as others. umpires need to look past their own clubs and really search for deserving winners and peaople who clearly bust a nut out on the court/field. and winning a best and fairest doesnt mean your team has made finals. a very sad result for the 2010 LPFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
