BALLARAT’S historic Gove Cycles store was officially reopened last night, with the new owners celebrating with founder Bill Gove. Arthur and Sharine Shaw purchased the 54-year-old business from Mr Gove and his wife Leslie in May, and have completed a heritage restoration of the building, assisted by Heritage Ballarat. City of Ballarat Mayor Cr Craig Fletcher officially unveiled a memorabilia wall in the store, which will now benefit from the expertise and experience of local bike technician Phillip Orr.
