THE Canberra office of Ballarat MHR Catherine King is now a baby-friendly zone.Ms King and her husband Mark Karlovic welcomed their first child, Ryan David Gladstone Karlovic, into the world on June 21 this year.This week marks Ms King's return to full-time work following the birth of her now 12-week-old son.It also co-incides with a parliamentary sitting in Canberra.Ms King has been joined in the nation's capital by Ryan and her sister-in-law, who is looking after her nephew between sittings and committee meetings."My office now houses a portable cot in the corner plus a few baby items," Ms King joked. "It has been obviously a bit of a juggle with Ryan here as well, but we're getting there."In his first visit to Parliament House, Ryan has even made an appearance in Caucus."He was certainly a hit with all the girls," Ms King laughed. Ms King said she was "certainly enjoying" her return to parliament after a short hiatus.
