PREMIERSHIP coach Mathew Battistello will stay with Lake Wendouree in the Ballarat Football League for another season.Lakers president Gavin Maher yesterday announced the re-appointment of Battistello for a fourth year.Battistello was always Lake Wendouree's first choice for the job.However, negotiations were delayed until after Battistello returned from his honeymoon.Battistello led the Associated Plasters Lakers to their first Mecu BFL premiership this year as playing coach.Lake Wendouree president Gavin Maher said the Lakers were rapt Battistello had agreed to stay on."He's done a great job over the past three seasons.''Maher said Battistello had received several other coaching offers since the grand final.The Lakers are now on the look-out for a replacement for assistant coach Josh Carracher, who is moving to Geelong.
