Floating candles were placed on the lake and fireworks were set off for Mr Zammit, who died on Friday after his life support was turned off by his father, Ollie.
Mr Zammit sustained severe head injuries during an altercation near a nightclub on the island of Mykonos early on Tuesday.
He was among six Australians involved in the incident with four staff at the Tropicana bar. The four have been charged.
The heart transplant recipient was a 30-year-old journalist, the Greek TV station Alter said yesterday. The surgery was described as successful.
Greek Television also reported that Mr Zammit's father would meet the heart transplant recipient this week.
