Sydney's most popular annual recreational cycling event gives riders of all ages and abilities the chance to enjoy some of the city's most picturesque scenery on the way to Olympic Park.
With the recently opened Westlink M7 cycleway and a boom in commuter cycling, organisers from Bicycle NSW are expecting record entries.
"The response from the public to the two new start sites in western Sydney has been fantastic," Bicycle NSW chief executive, Alex Unwin, said.
"This is part of a much bigger societal trend we are seeing as more people get on their bikes for fun, fitness and as an environmentally friendly means of transport and recreation."
In addition to the 40-kilometre route from North Sydney over the Harbour Bridge, there are two new western Sydney start sites.
The Ride Blacktown route is 45 kilometres long while those on Ride Liverpool cycle an easier 20 kilometres.
Ride the Park at the Sydney Olympic Park is a short seven-kilometre cycling run suitable for novice riders and those with young children.
