Aussie dollar needs devaluing a little

Our government members appear to be pushing Australia too close to the US.

Yes fine, we can be good friends but we do not have to be in their hip pocket.

A lot of the financial problems the world has now originated in the US through mismanagement and greed, with the result that because there was better management here we are now left with the high Australian dollar, which, in turn, makes the majority of goods made in Australia too expensive to other countries.

It possibly is now time that the Australian dollar was devalued a little to enable us to rebuild our manufacturing sector and attempt to halt the need to dispense with workers in this country.
